Tresor Paris

Tresor Paris is an excellent brand for people that adore exquisite adornments but instead of swooning over  diamonds and luxury fashion jewellery they head towards something more affordable that can be worn everyday. This was the reasoning behind Lillian Lousky creating the gorgeous Tresor Paris pieces. The well established jewellery designer and manufacturer Hasbani renowned for its diamonds, which is located in London's diamond district, Hatton Garden has adopted the brand Tresor Paris into its company.

Bold and Bright

The Saturne collection the brightest collection that Tresor Paris has introduced. It is a key accessory to go  feature alongside with the bold and bright fashion trend. Kate Middleton has been caught sporting the bracelet which brings elegance and fun to any outfit. She teamed her bracelet from the Saturne collection up with a pair of gorgeous bright red jeans. It is clear that this trend is fit for a princess!

The bold and bright trend was featured in many designers spring/summer 2012 collections including the likes of Elie Saab, Mathew Williamson and Issey Miyake who stormed the catwalks with this trend. These warm vibrant eye catching colours and their looks have inspired high street brands such as Topshop, Zara and H&M to jump on the bandwagon with the bold and bright trend.

What makes the bracelets in the Saturne collection perfect for layering and colour clashing is the wide range of colours that are available. Black Tibetan cords feature in some of the bracelets. The Tibetan cords cradle the crystals creating a striking look and enhance the playful colours which beam within the bracelet.

Some of the bracelets feature colourful Tibetan double cords which have semi precious stones that are cut in the exact same way as diamonds which creates a light capturing effect that consists on a beautiful reflection.

All bracelets are available for purchase online at www.tresorparis.com as well as individual stockists. Prices start at £149.

Nautical

Tresor Paris has created this range in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic games, which ties in with the popular nautical trend. Thesor Paris's iconic crystal and magnetic spheres take form in a British inspired collection which incorporate the Union Jack flag and colours into the spheres.

The nautical colours of red, white and blue feature in the limited edition Jubilee bracelet. The bracelet can be worn to accessorise an infinite number of different outfits, perfectly suited to accompany the nautical look, which appears on the catwalk without a doubt year after year for spring/summer by designers such as Christian Dior and YSL.

Earrings, rings and necklaces are also included in the Olympic and Jubilee collection. These collections are both unisex making unisex making the nautical trend bracelets and necklaces an excellent ‘his and hers’ option.

All bracelets are available online at www.tresorparis.com as well as individual stockists. Prices start at £69.

Neptune collection inspired by Underwater world

The Neptune collection which is name after the Roman God of the sea, merges an elegant and glamour underwater theme boasting shimmering crystal spheres. With the use of colours such as white, lilac and pale blue. The bracelets are said to be "fit for a mermaid and are perfect for any underwater princess".

A trend that braced its presence on the catwalk for spring/summer 2012 is the Mermaid. It appeared on the runways of  Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Versace, Givenchy and Jenny Packham. It is also a high-flying trend amongst high street stores such as H&M and Topshop.

Each Tresor Paris bracelet is named after a French city denoting the French influence on the brand. The collection has a new 8mm and 6mm size crystals, considerably smaller than the previous Neptune collection making it easy to stack bracelets together in order to achieve the desired look.

The range also takes full advantage of the crystal colour palette for other looks other than ‘Under the Sea’ such as pastel trends.

All bracelets are available online at  www.tresorparis.com as well as individual stockists.  Prices start at £149.

L'Odyssée de Cartier

This stunning Cartier advert caught my eye a few weeks ago when I was watching TV and it took up the length of an advertising slot. The luxury jewellery and watch brand took two years to create the 3 and a half minute advert that illustrates Cartier's heritage.

The short film was created by Publicis Groupe agencies Marcel and Publicis 133, and creative director Bruno Aveillan. The advert is to show Cartier's 165 years of history. Its follows the iconic symbol of the brand, the panther (three were used for the short film) on a trip round the world where it encounters key moments and locations from Cartier's history.

"The panther finally lands in Paris, the birthplace of Cartier, on Place Vendôme where he meets supermodel Shalom Harlow at the Grand Palais.
The panther travels to St Petersburg in the snow, to China where he comes face-to-face with a golden dragon, to an Indian palace built upon an elephant's back and filled with glittering animal jewellery, before leaping aboard the wings of and identical replica of the airplane built by Alberto Santos-Dumont, to showcase the classic Cartier Santos watch."
